Junior Investiture Ceremony – Jesus and Mary Convent School.
The first-ever Junior Investiture Ceremony in the history of Jesus and Mary Convent School was held with great pride and solemnity on 16th May 2025 in the school auditorium, Zaitra. This historic occasion marked the formal installation of the newly elected Junior School Council for the academic year 2025–2026.
The event began with a soulful prayer song by the school choir and a vibrant welcome dance. The Chief Guest, Rev. Father Andrew Correia, was warmly introduced and felicitated by the School Principal, Rev. Fr. Saji Palamattom.
The Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, House Captains, and Class Prefects were ceremoniously adorned with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest, Pre-Primary Incharge Sister Gracy, and House Teacher Leaders.
The young leaders took a solemn oath to uphold the school's values with sincerity and honour.
In his inspiring address, Rev. Father Andrew Correia emphasized the significance of resilience and service in leadership. He also explained the importance of constitution of our school which is printed in the form of school diary, encouraging students to lead with compassion and purpose. A memento was presented to him by Rev Fr.Saji as a token of appreciation.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. Saji, reminded the council members of their role as representatives of their peers and urged them to spread love and joy in their journey of leadership.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem and a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Junior Head Boy. The event left an indelible mark, setting a proud precedent and inspiring a new generation of young student leaders.
