Annual function organized in Jesus and Mary Convent School. The annual function of classes 3, 4 and 5 was organized in the auditorium 'Jaitara' of Jesus and Mary Convent School,on 23rd November, and the theme for the evening was “Soch” connecting home and school. The Principal of the school, Respected Father. Rogimon Thomas, Manager, Respected Rev.Father K.K Thomas, Vice Principal Sister Praveena and Dr. Shyam Sunder Pathak were was present as the chief guest, who along with working as Assistant GST Commissioner in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is also a writer, poet and author of books like 'Ek Pahal' and 'Kamayabi'. It is also a source of inspiration for the success of millions of students through institutions.
The annual festival started with the lighting of the lamp, followed by prayer and welcome song and 'Soch-Ek Sandhya' program proceeded with 'Soch' which included the values of Indian culture, the importance and companionship of teachers and parents in building a child and society. Various pillars of Indian culture were being displayed on the same stage. This thought was conveyed through various dances, poems and dance dramas to the parents sitting in the audience in such an attractive manner that all the parents were forced to think, that in reality we have to build a good and healthy society through children.
Chief guest and speaker Dr. Shyam Sundar Pathak also presented his views on the same topic and said that only parents and teachers can build a healthy society through a child and we all must fulfill this responsibility. School Principal Rev.Father Rogimon Thomas honored the chief guest and thanked him. The program ended with the national anthem.
